Key highlights are the identification of a shallow weathering area in the north of the Hyde Park Coal Project, and a likely increase in up-dip tonnes, with continued minimal intersection of water through the key seams. In the south a drill hole within the recently acquired EPC2166 shows a strong continuity to the south with very clean coals at a drilled raw strip ratio (BCM/T) of approximately 3.5:1

On the 29th April 2016 the Hyde Park Coal Project was given "Project Status" by the QLD Government. A recognition of the significance of the project for QLD. This effectively combines the three EPC's (1754, 2050 & 2166) into one project.
